Here is inscribed the Record of the deeds and men of the Legion of the Black Sun...The Legion of the Black Sun was destroyed long ago. When the original standard was rediscovered, the Emperor Quron val'Dellenov refused to reinstate it! Nier could not abide the insult, so with the aid of Neroth, the original Legion arose from their graves, and the discoverer of the standard, also risen as undead after his execution, marched to lead it. This ghost Legion theorectically still walks Canceri.
