Legion of Avenging Thunder
Here is inscribed the Record of the deeds and men of the Legion of Avenging Thunder. This is a comparatively new legion, founded only about twenty years ago. It is based in Salantis, near the coast and has quickly developed a reputation for valor while fighting against raiding parties of humanoids sent by the witch king of Ymandragore.
Its founder, Lucius Centares, has retired to Coryan and has aspirations to the Senate. Another former member, junior officer Janthi Val'Sheem, is a member of the senate. Janthi and Lucius had a falling out years ago over an unknown affair and they are now
bitter enemies. The General who succeeded Lucius Centares, Indiron Val'Ossan, was lost at sea with his ship the Amoracchius this last
winter. The Legion is currently under the direct supervision of the Emperor himself until he installs a new General.
