Crests of the Order of Treslau Pass

"We, Osric, by the Grace of the Gods, King of Milandir, Duke of Naeraanth, Keeper of Oaths, Defender of the Meek grants that thy actions in service to Milandir have been above and beyond the call of duty, and for thy noble actions in defense of the Kingdom of Milandir we grant thee, by Dellenov, Holryn, Tensen, and Ossan, the Crests of Treslau Pass. May its weight remind thee of the noble souls who survived Treslau, and may its sight cause our citizens to grant thee the respect and love for thee we hold." - The Award of the Crests

In the year 1023 five hundred of the Knights of Milandir, men-at-arms, and Ss'ressen warriors in service to the Duke of Tralia held Treslau Pass against the overwhelming force of sixty-thousand legionnaires for fifteen days while the cantons of Moratavia were organized in defense of the realm. Only twenty-three men survived this act. A special order of Knighthood was created for these brave warriors. As each man was knighted they were given the first Crests of Treslau Pass, each belt bearing the crests of the brave twenty-three.

Since that time only a handful of Milandesians have been inducted into the Order of Treslau Pass and membership in the knighthood is one of the highest honors the Milandesian crown can give.
