Order of Fifteen Days
In the year 1023, five hundred knights, men at arms, and ss'ressen in service to the Duke of Tralia held Treslau Pass against sixty-thousand legionnaires for fifteen days. They purchased with this effort the time needed to raise the cantonial forces of Moratavia, Sylvania, and Tralia to the defense of the Realm. All but 23 of these men perished. An order of Knighthood was established by the Crown to recognize this great deed and these twenty-three are the only living persons awarded peerage in this order.
Now, the order is used to bestow posthumous homors upon those who give their life for the defense of the Realm in acts of selfless sacrifice. That person's heir is also bestowed rights and privileges that the heir of a Knight would enjoy, but does not enjoy membership in the order.
