16 December, 2005 - A bunch of little long-overdue updates throughout the site. Most notable is the posting of a few new creature cards (badger and winged viper) to the Bestiarium Arcanis, thanks to Dean Bailey. 7 December, 2005 - The Invisible Kings Program Guide is now available for download. Read it over, and get developing! We can't wait to see who our first Invisible Kings will be! We also have 5 more PCs donated to the PreGen Stable by Phil Gunther. Thanks Phil! The new PCs are a selection of Elorii wizards. 29 November, 2005 - Two new rules updates are now available for download on the Errata and Enhancements page. One is a General Rules Update, and the other is an official ruling on the GRA Killing Blow. Evan also has submitted reformats of the LA Logsheet and the MIC logsheet that are meant to be printed double-sided on 11x17 paper, and folded in half to make a 'logbook'. These are permanently filed on the Character Generation page. Thanks, Evan! 10 November, 2005 - The Player Reward Cards pages of the new LARC are under review and discussion on the LARC-discussion list. Download a copy of the draft document here if you wish to join in. ONLY the Player Rewards Cards list is under discussion, NOT any other content of the document. 29 October, 2005 - Still working on the photos, but I've gotten a more detailed set of module checklists submitted by Adam Mann updated and posted. They can be found on the Module Database page. Thanks Adam! 28 October, 2005 - No new photos yet, but plenty of other updates. The module database, timeline, and checklists have been updated. An Index for the 01-25-2005 LARC was provided by Nicole Rubins. A 32pt Point-Buy Stat Chart was provided by Adam Mann. Both can be found on the Character Generation page. If you have any other suggestions or contributions, please feel free to contact me. I am still not quite ready to switch over to the PC database, so have patience. I am not updating the Roster/Rolls/Record any longer, due to this pending switch, so you don't have to send me your PC info guys. Wait and you'll be able to add it yourselves. 25 October, 2005 - Yes, too long without updates, I know. The new Find Fellow Players page is up, with a link to the fun Arcaniacs Frapper Map created by Philip Scott. I have a bunch of photos from Origins and GenCon I need to get posted, and also plan to get the module database and checklists updated in the next couple days. The webmaster is back, look out! 3 August, 2005 - 10 new Elorii have been donated to the PreGen Stable by Phil Gunther. Thanks Phil! Also please note that the webmaster will be offline for much of August, just due to work, GenCon, and family, so please don't get discouraged if your emails aren't answered immediately. 26 July, 2005 - Paradigm Concepts has been nominated for a Fan's Choice Ennie! Woohoo! So all you LA fans need to go and vote! http://www.enworld.org/ennies/fanschoice.php Choose Paradigm from the drop-down list. Choose them only once; duplicate ballots are discarded. You don't need to sign in, they are tracking by IP address. 22 July, 2005 - Five more pre-gens from Brendan Robertson have been added to the PreGen Stable. Thanks Brendan! 21 July, 2005 - More photos from Origins have been added to the Rogue's Gallery, mainly of the LARP. Anyone with photos from Origins, or any other previous LA event should feel free to send them in for addition to the gallery! 12 July, 2005 - a dozen new pregens have been added to the PreGen Stable courtesy of Dean Bailey! A new yahoogroup for members of the Legio Lex Talionis has also been added to the Forums & Contacts page. The Origins premiere modules Blood of Innocence and Under a Blood Red Sky are now available through the RPGA for gamedays and conventions. 7 July, 2005 - An addendum has been made to the blastpowder announcement - all val'Holryn players with the val'Abebi bloodline powers should also join the valAbebi list. Also, we've added the first batch of Origins photos to the Rogue's Gallery, enjoy! Origins 2005 Wrap-Up6 July, 2005 - WOW Origins was a blast (quite literally)! The first of our Post-Origins wrap-up announcements is above, keep looking for more information as it becomes available. A VERY important ruling has been made regarding blastpowder that everyone needs to be aware of, so read the post and pass it on! Also, we've added yet another list to the Forums page, and Marketplace has some great new vendors to browse. Get your orders in for GenCon now! 28 June, 2005 - New information has been added to the Origins 2005 Announcement page regarding Armillus bearers, the LARP and the BI. Read up before you get there! Also, as of now the webmaster is wrapping up the laptop and packing for the con. See you there tomorrow! I should have net access from Columbus, but no guarantees I'll have time to post anything... I will also have a digital camera, taking photos for the website! 19 June, 2005 - Since RPGA now has the module Fractured Souls available for download, I have taken down the module from the downloads page, and wish to remind any and all GMs that downloaded and ran the mod from this site to order and report your results through RPGA as soon as possible. 11 June, 2005 - Sean Molley has sent us corrected play documents for the module Fractured Souls. They are available for download on the Living Arcanis Module Downloads page. Please remember that you still need to order and report this module with RPGA! Just use the version from here instead of the one in the RPGA download. 8 June, 2005 - Henry sent us images of the various Elorii Holy Symbols that we've placed on their own page. Righ now this page is found in the Grand Library of Coryan, but we know it doesn't belong there. But until the national sections get reorganized, there it is. I also added the Excel spreadsheet I use to make the module checklists to the Module Database page, so you can now get the spreadsheet itself. 4 June, 2005 - Updated the SRD links in the Writer's Resource section after I was informed the link was to a 3.0 SRD, not a 3.5 SRD, oops! But it is fixed now. 2 June, 2005 - Phil Gunther has donated a very nice spreadsheet summarizing the costs of scribing scrolls. It can be found on the Character Generation page. Also, I received several emails over the past week stating various zip files in the Module Database were corrupted. I checked each one, and they are not. I would suggest to those having problems to try downloading again. If you are on dial-up, or even DSL during a high-traffic time period, errors can creep into the download due to dropped packets. Also, check that you have the most recent updates of Acrobat Reader and/or your unzip software. 30 May, 2005 - Updates to the Portal list in the Grand Library of Coryan, as well as to the Year 3 module checklists in the Module Database section. GM signup for GenCon Indy 2005 is also now live at the Horseman site. 21 May, 2005 - Legacy of Damnation Preview now available, and Legacy has gone to the printers! WooHoo!!!! 18 May, 2005 - More pre-gen characters by Brendan Robertson in the PreGen Stable, and updated module checklists (including a first attempt at a Y4 checklist) on the Module Database page. A glitch that caused access problems with the database has also been fixed, thank you to the eagle-eyed visitors who spotted it for me! 14 May, 2005 - Various little updates here and there, like adding more legion names to the Legion listing in the Roster of the Valorous. Still working on the PC database and the companion stat cards; thank you for your patience on these matters! Those wishing to order holy symbols and other jewelry for the LARPs at Origins and GenCon should contact Tomas the Lapidary soon; he tends to get backed up with orders quickly. Also, if you prefer to have your PC airbrushed onto a shirt instead, try getting in touch with Off-World Designs. They also tend to get backed up quickly, so be sure to order early! 11 May, 2005 - The old 'Product Listing' pages have been revamped into a new "Marketplace" section! Check it out... 26 April, 2005 - We have a couple official campaign announcements that we are mirroring from the talk lists: An Origins 2005 Announcement and an Official List-related Announcement. Please read both if you haven't already. And as of today we are also archiving our old news items for those that want to search through them for a tidbit or two. 22 April, 2005 - The elementals in the Bestiarium Arcanis have been tweeked a bit, as I have perfected the formatting for the creature cards. Warhorses are nearing completion, and should be posted soon. Pre-registration for Origins is now open! There are 2 RPGA Arcanis events, and 3 non-RPGA events on the schedule. Be sure to get your tickets while they last! Retirement Reminder: The Year 2 LA modules retire at the end of 2005. If you still have some Year 2 (LA-XX2) modules you haven't played, start arranging tables now! Arcanis Con Carne is an upcoming open-library event for those needing to catch up! 12 April, 2005 - The Bestiarium Arcanis has some new entries. I acknowledge it will be a long process to really get it filled, so I began two polls on the LA_Talk group to gauge the popular use of creatures. Go vote, because the most popular choices will receive priority to stat for the Bestiarium. Elementals are up now, and the most popular choice at the moment is war horses, so that will be the next creature to stat. 29 March, 2005 - A few new entries into the Fiction section, and also character portraits, sent in by Mary Konczyk. Still working on the PC database, so have patience, all you that want to record awards! 7 March, 2005 - The tiering document for the module City of Secrets is now available on the Module Downloads page. The plain (non-editable) version of the alternate 3.5 character sheet has also been added to the Character Generation page. 14 February, 2005 - I cleaned up the forums page; a lot of the yahoogroups optimistically formed to network various meta-groups lapsed due to inactivity. Ah, well... A few new groups, including the new "LARC Discussion group" were added. This page maintained by webmaster@onaraonline.org This page was last modified on: 01 January, 1970 |
